Our Beginning...
After helping national and regional fleets purchase over $1.6 Billion in fuel during his valuable 7 year tenure at the largest fuel card provider in the United States, it became clear to our founder, Benjamin Roberts, that fleets need a trusted adviser "a mentor" that can provide in-depth industry insights into their fuel pricing, margins, cost components, and discount negotiation. Too many fleets are paying too much for fuel, and unfortunately, some don't even realize it. Ben founded Fuel Mentor in 2021 to change that!
Fuel Mentor does one thing and does it extremely well! We help trucking companies get better fuel discounts from truck stops so they capture more savings and improve profitability. Our fuel consulting firm's expertise is highly concentrated and focused on one thing: FUEL!

Meet Ben
Benjamin Roberts has helped several hundred fleets manage their fuel expenses over the last decade, and he enjoys serving trucking companies. Without successful trucking companies, and their drivers, America's quality of life comes to a stop. Ben understands the vital role transportation plays in our nation's prosperity, and he's committed to helping every fleet maximize their potential and capture the savings needed to fund their future growth.
He earned his B.B.A. from Austin Peay State University and his M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He lives with his wife and their two boys in the Nashville, TN "Music City USA"
